Home at Last..

Well I am going to kind of do an update post and slam everything until now into one. I am not having an easy time with keeping up with this blog, but for the sake of posterity and for my friends and family in places all over, I want to post photos.

So we are now the blessed co-owners of 80 acres in the Sequatchie Valley in TN. Only God....thats all I gotta say. We have been busily putting in fences, clearing land, trying to secure building materials and build a farm. Well, more than anything we have been playing and exploring.....
We are learning patience and endurance and many other farm lessons. I just wanted to post my photos from the first few weeks here and then I will try to keep up a bit better after this.

This kind of sums up how I feel about all that God has done for us. This rainbow showed up over the hills behind our barn.
The beginning of the goat pen

Hmmm...how does this go?

O.k. This is starting to look right...

Hey moms, look what we made! Oh, how I love boys at work. I think my sister and I had a beer while we watched.

These two pups were dumped down by the river. THey are our new farm dogs. The goats are not too fond.

Here is another project done by the boys. When we first moved in we literally had to back the truck up to the door because the path was nothing but holes and miscillanious rocks. They did good. It is a bit longer than that now.

Laundry day. With 11 peoples laundry and a laundramat. The drying is quite hallarious. Once the goat got a pair of underware stuck on her head and she ran around all willy-nilly til I could catch her and get them off.

Just some parting shots. When so-called "wise" people say there is no God, consider these....
